Replacing a turbo should include correcting the cause of the previous failure. Poor oil supply, contamination or a control fault can damage the replacement too.
Before installation, GTR checks the engine and oil pressure and inspects and cleans the intake, exhaust passages and intercooler. Preparation includes an oil change and new oil and air filters.
After installation, a road test checks the turbo and its electronic and vacuum controls. Have the vehicle VIN or turbocharger part number ready for selection.
